Here's a funny story about ebay. I won a brand new set of Crane dual valve springs on ebay today, part number 99882-16 for $22US. I called Crane to get more info on the springs as they are discontinued.....turns out they are for race roller cams to .790" lift and will only work on high dollar heads like Yates and Brodix. The retail on them was $251US and the new replacement spring retails for $334US.....no good for my application but now I have all the specs on them so I can relist them and make a few bucks...the other guy had almost no description other than a picture and "for SB ford".....these things are made out "H" tool steel with a seat pressure of 226lbs @ 2"........I should easily double my money if not more....Its just a shame I don't have some expensive heads to put them on. cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7926875217&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AITI just thought they were dual valve springs for a SB ford as the ad described. I've bought and sold a lot of speed parts on ebay but this is the first time I came out ahead on the $$$ end. ;D
