On Thursday, September 9, 2010, the Social Marketers Summit took place in Prague at Palace Cinemas. I must say in advance that I have been looking forward to this event for quite some time, because it can be considered one of the few, if not the only, of its kind in our region. In addition, the list of quality speakers led by Erica Swallow enticed me more than enough. And obviously I wasn't alone because the summit was already sold out a week in advance. Well, let's get to what it was like. I arrived at the venue a little before the start of registrations. Of course, they were delayed and started approximately 20 minutes later than planned. This was followed by a changing room and minor confusion at the second round of registrations. After that we were allowed into the hall. There were 3 wifi networks and enough sockets for everyone. The introduction started with an impressive video.
He was followed by B2B Email List Alena Ivánková with her presentation Friends online and community websites 2010 . Unfortunately, I can only tell what it was about after watching the presentation on the Internet. Alena was unlucky to be the first, so during her presentation everyone had to try the twitter feed, which was on the screen for the duration of all presentations. As someone jokingly remarked, sometimes it looked like an SMS chat on Óčka. image Twitter feed during the first presentation 1 Moreover, her slides, which were already overwhelmed with information, turned out to be unreadable on the screen, encouraging everyone to tweet enthusiastically. image Twitter feed during the first presentation 2 Alena was followed by Erica with her presentation on 10 lesser-known social networks . The presentation was great, it contained all the essential information supplemented by practical examples of use.
Unfortunately, in our country, where even foursquare is in its infancy, I think it makes no sense to think about even less widespread networks. I rate Pavel Hacker's presentation about the pre-election campaigns of the main parties on social networks as the most successful , where Pavel summarized and evaluated the actions of the ODS, ČSSD, TOP09 and SZ, viz. tweets: image Twitter feed during Pavel Hacker's presentation 1 image Twitter feed during Pavel Hacker's presentation 2 image Twitter feed during Pavel Hacker's presentation 3 Thorbjörn Warin provided a brief overview of the world of social games in his presentation . It was just an overview of what social games are, what games Wooga publishes and basic information about how the business around social games works from Wooga's point of view.
