Which rule book is the Greenfield track using, IHRA or NHRA? ..I'm picking up a 2004 NHRA rule book tommorow.

Is it really going to matter which rule book I follow for saftety rules concerning the fuel tank mounting, location and the same for the battery?

Stu, my understanding is that the rules are very similar; with the NHRA rules being slightly more stringent in a few areas. I don't know of any examples where the IHRA rules exceed the NHRA rules, so you should be fine. Don, the moderator of the other forum, has a good knowledge of the IHRA rules, as well as Doug on this forum, and they should be able to answer any specific questions tat you may have and steer you clear of any difficulties.

Yeah, I got the book from Doug at the speed shop today so atleast now I can try to build things to meet the rules, I want to pass tech the first time without any headaches.
