For the 2012 season Greenfield Dragway will have a Sport Compact class running for all 5 races. Robert Tanner is the class rep and therefore the go to guy for all your questions. On March 29th NSDRA will have there annual meeting at 7pm at the Bridgewater Legion. This will be a great time for everyone to add or renew their membership to the NSDRA and to voice their thoughts on the operation of the track. Remember we're always looking for volunteers leading up to and during race weekends.

no offense to anyone but they do need to pick a time break.if it was 11secs someone would lobby for 10.

ET CUT OFF. Well when you look at the way the ETs are staged per class 12.5 fit best.anything faster then the posted 12.5 ET is getting into a modified SC class and there are not enough SC cars to support this at GF. That being said. This is one reason why putting together a open SC gamblers race was put in to place with no ET brake on sat. At best the ET cut off for the points class could be 11.5sec and slower. The main reason i say this is simple when you start going faster then ( 11.5sec )you start to get into roll bars and such. At that point it don't matter what body stile you have its a race car enough said . It would be no different then taking a top-fuel car and putting a civic body on and then calling it a SC car. This is why we have ET breaks and different rules set for each class of car its a ladder climb from the bottom to the top from street car to race car. Some people like to stay in one class forever and be as consistent as they can in that said class and others like to climb the ladder. I have run my civic in SM class for 3years now and when I reach the cross over point for pro i will have no problem running in pro you are what you build.
