In an effort to enhance safety at your racing facility: Beginning at the first race of the 2010 season:
For Any and All vehicles crossing the finish line between 150 and 159.99 MPH, it is strongly RECOMMENDED that you use your Parachute EVERY RUN and ........
For Any and All vehicles crossing the finish line at 160 MPH or Greater, the use of a Parachute is MANDATORY for EVERY RUN. As you are aware, any race vehicle (other than M/C) travelling at speeds of 150 MPH or greater, must be equipped with a Parachute. Be Advised this is a TECH item and All equipped vehicles are Subject to Inspection for Proper Parachute installation, condition and operation.
Come back here often, there may be other rule changes. As you are aware the time break for Pro is currently under discussion. The decision to make or not make a change will be completed before the end of February 2010 at the very latest.
DISCOUNT ENTRY FEE 2010 « Result #2 on Nov 20, 2009, 9:21pm »
Due to the Sunday rainout during the last race event of 2009, we will be offering a discount for our first race of 2010 in Greenfield.
All vehicles entries that we have a completed Tech card for the Sunday event win a discount for their vehicle / driver entry fee at our NEXT scheduled event. There will be a list at the arrival gate in the spring.
The discount is as follows:
S/P $30 Reduction Pro $25 Reduction SM $20 Reduction B/S $20 Reduction Jr.D's $10 Reduction
General Meeting -- Best Western Liverpool « Result #4 on Nov 12, 2009, 1:27pm »
There will be a general meeting of the NSDRA at the Best Western in Liverpool on November 14th, 2009. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm and will be located in the banquet room. Purpose of the meeting will be to provide year end review and the plans for the 2010 season. Members wishing to pay their 2010 memberships will be able to do so starting at approximately 3:30 pm. New members wishing to join may do so at the same time.

Alvina has been busy in Santa's workshop (mine) ,she made 25 snowmen for craft shows & is giving one to be raffled off at the banquet with monies going to Christmas Daddy's. She figured that the boy's have a bolt bin to raffle the better half's should have something too!!! as they let us play all summer . The one for raffle will have a slight twist to it towards the drag race crowd,have to wait to see it!!! One thing about it she is handy just ask her about the rolling pin incident

2009 Greenfield Dragway Banquet -- Last Call « Result #6 on Nov 6, 2009, 11:19am »
This years Greenfield Dragway Banquet and Awards Presentation’s will be held at the Best Western in Liverpool on November 14, 2009. Ticket cost is $25.00 per person. The event will begin with a Happy Hour at 5:30 pm and the meal being served at 6:30 pm.
We need to know who is attending by Monday November 9th, so we can confirm the numbers with the caterer. So anybody that is still deciding whether to attend or not, pick up that phone and call now.

I AM WORKING ON THE SAME THING ON MY BIKE. I USED AN ELECTRIC SHIFTER FROM HOLESHOT. IT WORKED GOOD. I HAVE AN AUTOMETER SWITCH AND PILLS ON ORDER. I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THEY ALL WORK TOGETHER. Transworld Distributing of Dartmouth is donating a $ 500.00 Nut and Bolt bin to the NSDRA.
Since we are again this year making a donation to Christmas Daddies, we will utilize this great gift of Bill's to help the cause.
In the past all the people in attendance have always been most generous toward Christmas Daddies, now here is an opportunity to make that donation and possibly take home a valuable and usefull item.
During the banquet, every $ 5.00 donation will get you 1 entry in the hat to win the bin.

Just a reminder to everybody that our banquet date of Nov 14th is fast approaching. They are holding a block of rooms for us at the negotiated preferred rate until November 1st.
We also need to know who is attending by November 9th so we can confirm with the caterer the number of meals he needs to prepare.
